La situation d’insécurité, dans laquelle notre pays s’embourbe depuis des années, s’avère commune à plusieurs autres pays de l’Amérique. Certains ont su s’en sortir, d’autres se sont adaptés. Remarquez toutefois que tous ceux qui s’en sont sortis, ont pu y arriver grâce à leur armée ou une police militaire en appui à leur force de police civile à l’instar du Costa Rica …

Haïti, malgré certaines similitudes avec le vécu de ces autres pays, est restée longtemps la moins affectée. Sans doute à cause de cette évidence moins palpable cela aura pris plus de temps pour arriver à ce stade de pourriture, hier encore il était plus risqué de s’aventurer en république voisine que de se déplacer n’importe où à l’intérieur de notre chère Haïti.
